In the vibrant world of automotive enthusiasts, every journey begins with a pivotal question: which platform to choose? For Nate Teng, this decision ignited a quest for individuality that ultimately led him to craft his unique vision atop the iconic chassis of a 2007 Subaru STI.

“I initially wanted an Evo 9 before I got the Subaru, But I have so many friends who have Evos, and I wanted to be different and build something unique.”

Nate Teng

Embracing the road less traveled, Nate set his sights on a four-door, turbocharged, all-wheel-drive performance vehicle. His quest for distinction brought him to the doorstep of the 2004-2005 STI models, yet fate intervened with an unexpected twist. His first ’06 Subaru WRX STI was totaled when an individual ran a redlight. He shortly afterwards found another ’06 Subaru WRX STI that he started modding right away.

As the years unfolded, Nate’s journey took unexpected turns, with each twist of fate shaping his path in unforeseen ways. A fortuitous encounter with Steve, the owner of Pullzontuning, marked a turning point, introducing Nate to a ’07 limited STI that would redefine his automotive odyssey.

“After a year of owning and putting some mods on the car and tuning with Pullzontuning, Steve mentioned a super clean ’07 limited STI with 70k miles on it,” Nate recounts, his excitement palpable. “I had no idea what the difference was in the limited until I did some research on it, and I was in love.”

With his heart set on this newfound gem, Nate made the bold decision to part ways with his ’06 Aspen white STI, heralding the dawn of a new chapter in his automotive journey. Thus began the evolution of Nate’s STI into a canvas of automotive artistry, a transformation fueled by passion, perseverance, and an unwavering pursuit of excellence.

Central to Nate’s vision is the heart of his STI, meticulously crafted by Bankrupt Motorsports, boasting Stage-4 heads from Head Games and Kelford 282 cams. A custom turbo kit, crafted by @brimofab, adds both power and an exhilarating sound that epitomizes automotive beauty.

Inside, Nate’s STI is a sanctuary of performance and comfort, featuring Bride Euroster II gradation seats, a Cusco harness bar, and a Crow 4-point seat belt harness. The integration of a Haltech IC7 with dash mount modernizes the STI cluster gauge, providing vital performance data at a glance.

Externally, Nate’s STI is a testament to minimalist aesthetics, with Ray Gramlights 57DR wheels complementing the CS Front/side/rear lip kit. Riding on Airlift Performance struts and bags, Nate’s STI achieves the perfect balance between form and function, ready to conquer both the track and the streets with equal prowess.

Nate’s 2007 Subaru STI stands as a symbol of individuality and incorporates the spirit of the automotive enthusiast. With each modification and upgrade, his journey continues, a testament to the enduring allure of turbocharged, all-wheel-drive performance, and the unwavering dedication of those who dare to dream.
