Auto enthusiasts in the Southeast were left disappointed when Formula Drift announced the cancellation of this year’s car show, which was replaced with their Ford Experience. This left many craving the opportunity to admire some of the region’s cleanest builds after attending an action packed weekend. Luckily for us, SlammedEnuff stepped up to the plate, hosting a show not far from Road Atlanta the day after Formula Drift, providing a perfect weekend for car enthusiasts.
The decision to hold the event on Mother’s Day stirred up mixed feelings among attendees. Some felt it was selfish to prioritize a car show on a day dedicated to celebrating mothers. However, others saw it as an opportunity for mothers to enjoy some alone time while their families indulged in their passion for automobiles. After all, what better way to spend the day than admiring meticulously crafted cars, and for those traveling, it provided a mini-vacation as well.
Team Tensei emerged as the undeniable stars of the show, showcasing their impressive builds and walking away with over 10 trophies. Among their accolades were the Best of Show award for their 260z and the recognition for Best Team Quality. This further solidified Team Tensei’s reputation as one of the nation’s premier automotive teams.
One of my personal favorites was this beautiful Pink Pandem A90 Supra that made for the perfect entry piece when you entered the convention center.
NVUS brought out the trailer which I think is a nice nod to the late great NSXtra.

As an NSX owner there are some individuals I’ve been wanting to meet and luckily I was able to run into Jeremy. He was kind enough to give me some pointers and we were able to reminisce about the ole days.
We had fun attending the event and it was the icing on the cake for every car enthusiast. We’re looking forward to seeing what SlammedEnuff Charleston brings us in two weeks, if it’s anything like this Atlanta show you can be sure that the quality rides will be there.
