Edison Hwang's Widebody 2011 BMW E92 M3

Over the years enthusiast have made it a point to shape, change, mod, or in some case almost destroy a car to achieve the point at which they are considered different or to show their individuality. Some you may say go too far, some do almost nothing at all and then there are those that find that median. They makes you sit there and want to go through their 78 page build thread on a forum you’re not even on just to see how they did it. These cars are few and far between and while not everyone will like them 90 percent of those that see it will love them.

Many times more often than not you come across a wide body car that has money well spent in some areas and just plain lacking in others to say the least. This however is not the case for Edisons car as even with the many options that can be had for much cheaper. Edison used the real deal in aftermarket components. Look closely at the exposed GTR style hood and you will notice it’s a Vorsteiner piece of art. If you’ve owned a BMW you know there are many companies that try to do what Vorsteiner does but in comparison fail horribly with parts having crap fitment and cheap weave.

While Edison’s car is not simple by any means the car is overall just stunning to say the least. As if a M3 in general wasn’t wide enough Edison went further and added rear and front Vorsteiner GTRS3 Dry Carbon Fiber Wide Archs and Dry Carbon Fiber Wide Body Ext. Side Skirts to add another 6 inches to the track of the car. Not stopping there he added Vorsteiner GTRS3 Dry Carbon Fiber Wide Body Front Bumper and rear to complete the kit. If you’re asking yourself why, You won’t have to look hard to see the two gorillas sitting under the rear quarters. Vorsteiner VS-320 3-Piece Concave Forged Aluminum Front 20×10.5 et 5, Rear 20×13 et 45(Street Set Up) wrapped in 285/25s up front and 345/25s out back ,Traction is the name of the game and we can say he’s got lots of it.

Edison has put together a well set off car from the Ferrari Rosso Scuderia Red paint with paint match center faces on the wheels to the R’s Tuning custom track Roll Bar Powder Coated in yellow that is also in scheme. Paint matched to the Rolloface SE-SS Big Brake Kit Calipers that are holding on to those nice 380mm cross drilled monsters. We loved to see car done up like this, not to say we don’t love the back yard build but one must give props where it’s due and Edison is killing the game.
