As many of you all that have been following know, one of our authors Prince Aka Proper-Style loss is beloved TK3 variant z32 to debri from a log semi in route to a photo shoot. Needless to say after winning his battle with the insurance company it was time to bounce after being out the game for 2months.

After making a few phone calls, he found his new canvas. A 1990 twin-turbo with 91k original miles with an emasculate paint job in the factory Aztec Red. Unbeknown to him the vehicle came with a nice list of pricey mods to include a blitz Sbc, TSW 19″, upgraded side mount intercoolers, and adjustable upper camber arms front and rear.

After the first week the car began to under go a new appearance. Starting with the removal of the kyb shocks and springs and installing a set of power trix coilovers. Settling the body on newly refinished racing hart CR’s 19×8.5 et 13 front 19x10et 23. The side mounts were removed and a Apollo front mount with 2.5 inlets and out let’s was fitted to the frame.

For the first 2weeks this was god enough to pasify his need to be behind the wheel of a 300zx, but would not last as the need to run with the single turbo’d supras and sc300s in Augusta would call for bigger turbos and other modifications.

Once again the z would go under the knife in the garage removing the engine and replacing the factory manifolds with new mass flow AMS cast manifolds that would hang a Garrett GTX 2867s with 1 bar actuators. After a bit of research on air in air out discussion. A purchase of the first set of z1 motor sports 2.5 intercooler piping to be put on the market was made, coupled with 3inch divorced down pipes and test pipes to bolt up to a Specialty Z 3in cat back running the classics quad tip design.

Getting the power to the ground would be accomplish via a Specialty Z designed lightened flywheel and 5buck unsprung clutch kit, transferring the brut force through a z1 aluminum 1 piece drive shaft with solid u joints to a set of nitto 555 275/30/19s.

To regulate the boost pressure the blitz sbc was sold and the purchase of the new Greddy Profec 2013 controller was made. Aero of the zed would be that of a stillen Gtz front lip, type 3 stillen side skirts ,rear valance , and a king z single port nose panel.

When it came to stopping he went with a new conversion thanks to Pete a 300zxclub forum member that designed a conversion bracket to mount a set of SRT 8 Brembo calipers with 370z 14.25in rotors. Unlike most the vehicles catching the eyes of fellow enthusiast this car was made to be functional. Though it could be lower the compromise of functionality was not an option. Looking to see it at AMP in 2014.

Proper is known to be the boldly honest one of the group, a trait you have to grow to love as no one likes an ass hole these days. Yet at the end of day he’s quick to help out any one in need. Whether it’s helping do an engine swap or fix another techs mistakes on their car. After all you have to have something to balance out the good and bad of an a-hole. Keep an eye out as rumor has it a epr built motor will be visiting this beast in the near future.
