Tae Chang's 2007 Honda S2000

Since the beginning of time, there have been people who want to make their cars the fastest, quickest, and most agile out there. With this passion comes a love/hate relationship. Owners face the large obstacles that lie ahead, and tuners either overcome these challenges or fail in doing so. Tae’s 2007 S2000 is one of those vehicles that overcame these feats.

Honda invested a lot of time and research in the development of the S2000. The efforts were necessary since it had been a long time since they truly had a sports car. You might ask about the Civic Si, but that’s nothing compared to these. The handling on these rides is amazing, and the inline-four is no joke either. Honda lovers and haters can’t deny that these cars are one of the sweetest rides on the road, and it’s been a long time coming.

Tae’s passion for making this a road course/show car was in mind. The Vortech V3 Supercharger added the instant horsepower that the S2000 needed to make up for the low-end torque. I already mentioned that the handling on these things is amazing, but a little tweak here and there to make them godly is never a bad thing. Upgrading the camber joints to J’s camber joints should help do the trick, along with a couple of other adjustments.

With all this room to gallop, you need some good stoppers. The Spoon calipers, slotted/cross-drilled rotors, and steel brake lines were just the right touch to stop for those sexy ladies so they can be mesmerized by this beauty when you stop at that red light. Not to mention, those infamous Volk TE37’s help do the trick too.

Haha, alright, I know the first thing you saw was the JDP Engineering lip and rear diffuser that grabbed your attention, but what about that Mugen Hardtop?

The only thing that should be topless is a beautiful lady.

You can tell that Tae decided to stick with the Mugen Hardtops which I might add are very difficult to find and if they are it’s harder to find them in good shape. Overcoming these obstacles has been no easy task for Tae, but with time and money, the ride gets better every day. I can’t wait to see what he has in store for the future.
