HWA AG, a German company known for making cars go faster and race better, has just shown off its latest project: a souped-up Mercedes 190E EVO II that’s going to cost £736k ($929,500) to take home.
They’ve started by getting rid of the famous Silver Arrow badge and making the grille look cooler and darker. They also split the headlights into two parts on each side, giving the car a more modern look. The front of the car is sleeker now, with a new design for the part that cuts through the air and tidier vents that make the car look less busy.
HWA swapped out the old Mercedes badges for its own and added new, sideways LED tail lights for a fresh look. They’ve also smoothed out the car’s design, making it look more straightforward and modern.
Under the hood, HWA is planning to pack the car with the latest tech to make it drive faster, stop quicker, and be safer, but they’re keeping quiet on the exact details. What we do know is that they’re working to make the car’s 2.5-liter engine much more powerful than before.
They’re only making 100 of these cars, and with the high interest in classic cars that have been brought up to date, HWA is pretty confident these cars will find homes. With a hefty price tag and limited availability, this revamped classic is all about bringing a piece of the past into the present with style and speed.
